Nate and I had our 6 year anniversary on the 2 days after Christmas and we went to an expensive dinner at Prairie Schooner. It was really yummy and I was so thankful to have that romantic time with my cute hubby. He is so awesome!
A few days later there was a huge snow storm and our satellite went out. Nate decided he couldn't miss the big Utah game so he decided to climb our on our roof to dust it off. He fell 20 ft to the cement. He cracked his left foot and sprained his left knee. We were really lucky because anytime someone would ask what happened, they would come back with ...I knew someone who died, or was paralysed. I'm really glad that I still have my wonderful husband with me.

Derek's Preschool had an art gallery at the Library. He painted "Vase with 12 sunflowers" by Vincent Van Gogh. We were so proud of him.
We also went to Las Vegas to visit Nate's Parents at their new winter home. We went to this really fun Mexican restaurant called Viva Zapata's. They had a mariachi player, and the kids went crazy dancing. It was really cute. We had a really relaxing weekend swimming and eating. We get to do it again next week. I'm really loved Nate home with us.

Then Nate was goofing around on the Internet and typed his name "Nate Keith" on YouTube. Two of his old lifting video's were on there, and together they had over 1000 hits. We were glad to see that all those years in the gym doing crazy things, are still out there for people to see. It made his night.
Well I have tried to hold off as long as I could....Macie needed a hair cut. She had so much hair and it would be perfect if she would keep her ponytails in, but she would leave them in for 5 minutes at the longest. Nate and Derek needed hair cuts as well, so we pack everyone in the car and headed to Great Clips. They were really good with her, and the girl said she was the most well behaved child she's had under 5. That's a shocker to me because if she would sit that still while I do her hair we wouldn't of had to cut it in the first place. She didn't cut too much off but she blended it so she has a style.

We started our festivities with choosing our pumpkins. Our family rule is "if you can pick it up, you can have it." Needless to say I don't know if that rule will stick seeing as Derek dropped probably 13 or 14 pumpkins. It was still a fun day.

The next day was Trunk or Treat at Grandma and Grandpa Ford's Ward. I though I was really clever, because both of my kids were Super Hero's I decided to go as "Super Mom." I wore pajama bottoms, a big t-shirt, my hair like I just rolled out of bed, and my bathrobe tied around my neck like a cape. I didn't realize that everyone comes back home for this event. I saw so many people from when I was a teenager, and I looked like I didn't know how to dress myself. People were probably saying "Oh, poor Karolee is so overwhelmed with those kids she can't even get dressed." I'm being dramatic but the only person who asked me what was supposed to be was my brother. Needless to say that was the end of me dressing up this year.
The next day was the family Halloween party with all the cousins. We had Chili and home made root beer. YUMMY!!! We played Halloween charades and decorated cupcakes.
The next night was Halloween and we did the trick or treating thing in our new neighborhood. It felt great being at our own house meeting out own neighbors.
